Summary: Cheap Crockery
Comments: I needed cheap crockery and that's exactly what I got. The entire set feels thin and flimsy, alalmost all like it's going to break each time I wash them. I am not totally unhappy with them as the price is excellent. So if you are starting out or moving into a new place, like I was, then this is a great starter to something possibly better in the future. |

Summary: Great Plates however bowls and side plates too small
Comments: The Dinner Plates are perfect. They are light weight, stack easily in the cabinet, work great in the microwave, and fit well in the dishwasher. I plan on purchaseing another2sets when they are on sale again. The1problem I have with the set is that Corelle Comes with small bowls and small side plates. They are so small that they have few practical uses. When I saw these plates/sets at Wal-Mart I mistakenly thought the larger bowls and larger side plates would be included with the set. Unfortunately these items have to be purchased separately and are somewhat expensive compared to the 16 piece sets I purchased. I still endorse this item however be aware that you may not find many uses for these small bowls and side plates. Corelle should offer a set with the larger bowls and side plates and I amazon should make it clear that the smaller sized items are included with the set. |

Summary: Simple Elegance
Comments: Love these dishes. purchased them to replace some heavier Melamine ones from Target.
Such a bright crisp white and it goes well with a set of Corelle Impressions that I want to mix with them.
I waited a few years until my kids were older before getting a set of Corelle because even though supposed to be shatterproof there are not too many things that were child proof as mine were growing up.
The dishes we are replacing are all scratched up and just too heavy.
This set is a nice starter set for anyone and the pieces can be purchased at several stores . It is nice to not have to worry about it being a pattern that they will discontinue anytime soon.
White goes with ething so do not be scared to mix these with another Corelle set you might like or with other dishes.
Yes the glasses are breakable as we have lost2already however I knew that would happen with 6 kids in the house lol.
I have found that the glasses clean better by hand than in the dishwasher.
The plates are so easy to clean and do not stain or scratch.
Not much more can be said they are dishes and work well as such lol!!!!
Oh the little plates are so perfect for the kids breakquick foods like pop tarts or toaster strudles some have said they are too small for daily use however we have found tons of uses for them besides just pie or brownies.

Comments: My mom has had this set for about 30 years. A few have been broken however easily replaced. When I moved out, she purchased me a set and set appears new and none broken after about 5 years. |
