Summary: Great dinnerware set!!
Comments: This is an excellent purchase. The plates are a nice crisp white and wash up beautifully in the dishwasher. They do not get too hot in the microwave either. I love that this set came with glasses instead of mugs. We do not use mugs much at our house and these glasses are the perfect size for water. I like the basic white color because I can always add additional dishes and they will match anything. I would purchase again. |

Comments: This is a nice set. Easy to store and clean. I would like to order more and see that the Corelle Winter Frost which is also white is cheaper. Does anyone know the difference other than this comes with glasses and the Winter Frost comes with mugs? |

Summary: Great Set, Could Be Better
Comments: Corelle has always made an excellent product and this a nice simple starter set. For me it was a replacement set. (Word to the wise: do not use when giving neighbors treats because the plates are so nice you will never get them back.) In the20 plus years I have had my Corelle set for eday use, I have only ever had1place get a small chip in it. Other than that none have ever broke, they still look like new and are great for use in the microwave!!
Only thing that would make this set perfect would be to get rid of the cheap glasses and replace with pasta bowls. They're not fooling anybody by adding these glasses (which you could purchase anywhere for about a dollar) as a filler making you think you are getting some kind of great deal. |

Summary: One nasty surprise however almost allly great
Comments: I have used this set for 2 years. Easy to clean, fairly durable -1plate has chipped and 2 glasses have broken.
The nasty surprise?1glass arrived with an unfinished sharp area on the rim about 3/4ths of an inch wide. That went into the trash; it wasn't worth the effort to return it. |
