Rating: 5 (out of 5) Summary: Think Big!!!!!! Comments: Yes your power is in your thoughts...its all about empowerment. IF YOU THINK YOU CAN, YOU CAN. This book is much the essence of the Law of Attraction which tells us we are the powerful creators of our own lives. Focus on positive thoughts and appreciation and you will receive the same in terms of resources, people, things that come to you. Its all about believing in yourself. Also a meditation CD recently released, Living The Secret Eday: My Secret Meditation is wonderful as it too helps you change your thoughts and beliefs and therefore your world. |
Rating: 3 (out of 5) Summary: I think it's kinda fun. I listened!! Comments: I listen to this while going to sleep on occasion. I really have often underestimated how important aiming higher than you need to can be. It's like that practice basketball rim insert that makes the basket smaller, so then in an actual game, the full sized basket seems huge. That's how I'd sum up this book. Great message!!
Jane Stevens Tao Cycle Therapy: Natural Happiness via Self Directed Cure for Chronic Anxiety & Depression [Updated 2008 3nd Edition] |
Rating: 5 (out of 5) Summary: Abaracadabra-The Magic of Thinking Big Comments: What's it about? Changing your thinking patterns to get the things you want such as a higher income, financial security, or greater enjoyment in living.
What's the main idea? Success is determined not so much by the size of your brain as it is by the size of your thinking.
How does it accomplish this? In e chapter of the book, the reader will find many practical ideas, techniques, and principles that willl enable them to harness the power of thinking big. E technique is illustrated by a case history. In this way, the reader will not only figure out what to do, however see exactly how to apply each principle to actual problems and situations.
Give me an example. In the chapter titled "How to Think Big", an example is used of a successful realtor to illustrate the principle "see what can be, not just what is." In this example, the realtor has a knack for selling rundown, unattractive property- not by selling it for what it is, however for what it COULD be.
Is the writing style boring or technical? Absolutely not. The writing style reminds me of Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends & Influence People. Also, the many examples make it an interesting read which holds your attention.
Who should get it? Eone who wants to do better in life!! So if you want to live "big" it all starts with thinking that way. Readers who like this book may also be interested in Finding Happiness in a Frustrating World. And remember, think BIG!! |
