Product Reviews: Llewellyn's 2009 Witches' Calendar |
Rating: 4 (out of 5) Summary: 2009 Witches Calendar Comments: Besides being a great functional calendar. It is a great source of information. Something new eday. We usually keep them long after the year ends as a great resource. Also a great gift. |
Rating: 5 (out of 5) Summary: Pretty great, like e year before... Comments: I get1e year it has great info inside and the artwork is really nice. symbolic. |
Rating: 2 (out of 5) Summary: Gallery of the Damned Comments: I have been purchasing these calendars since the 1st was published and each year, the artwork is less interesting that the year before. The monstrous human figures depicted by Jennifer Hewiston, the artist (and believe me, I use the term loosely), are grotesque. In a witches' calendar, I expect graphics that convey a sense of the old religion--witches dancing under a full moon, ancient stone circles, maypoles, jack-o-lanterns, a fortune teller, perhaps a wicker man--not substandard artwork that appears like it was purchased at a going-out-of-business sale at a Gallery of the Damned!! |
Rating: 5 (out of 5) Summary: Beautiful + Informative = 5 Stars Comments: I love this calendar, the amount of information in it is exceptional for just a yearly wall calendar. I am definitely going to cut out and save the articles and writing in the calendar. The pictures and all the artwork is lovely, although I might say the art style is a bit repetitive however I guess that makes sense when it comes to keeping it all in1theme. A wiccan calendar like this is hard to come upon, it's a must-have for any witch!! The 2009 Llwellyn Witches' Datebook is surely a perfect pair for this item so make sure to purchase them together. A++ !! |
