Summary: Great Bible Study for women
Comments: I led a Ladies Bible study with this book years ago and we all liked it and had great discussions. I was just looking for a book for a different Ladies Bible study in a different church,1that would include both Christians and (hopefully unsaved) women. So I went to my bookshelf and pulled STILL WATERS off the shelf and reviewed it. I am amazed at how my answers to a lot of the questions have changed from what they were years ago. The Lord has definitely been at work in my life, and I hope also in the other ladies who studied it with me then. Now I am looking forward to leading this study again with a completely different set of women, helping to point them to answers and quiet moments of reflection in the midst of a variety of situations and emotions that come into a woman's life no matter what age they are.
STILL WATERS covers a wide variety of areas of a woman's life such as rest, depression, creativity, anger, control, money matters, happiness, worry, fret, hospitality, and love. I highly endorse this book for those looking for refreshment in all areas of their lives. |
