Summary: New to puppies? New to Yorkies?
Comments: My wife and I have never owned a dog. For Christmas, my kids begged and pleaded. My wife and I gave in. My wife researched small/toy dogs and discovered the Yorkie. This book was a lifesaver. accessible. Great resource. We would have been lost without it.
Incidentally, we purchased another book as well--published by Animal Planet. Not nearly as helpful, however my nine-year-old enjoyed the pictures and general information.
If there is a better book for 1st-timers, I would be surprised. great luck with your Yorkie. |

Summary: The Best Yorkie Book
Comments: I am a 1st time yorkie owner so before I purchased her up, I read5books on yorkies to better acquaint myself with the breed. Yorkshire Terriers for Dummies was by far the best!! It was humorous, informative, and almost all of all, it made me appreciate my beautiful, smart puppy. I learned some great tips on training and my pup has already mastered some basic tricks. If you own a yorkie, you should own a copy of this book!! |
