Nothing new in this book.
I learned Much more at a recent Bruce Mack Seminar in Vegas.
do not waste your time or money.
Forget my money, I want the 10 hours or so it took to read this back...

Comments: I agree with McCallum, purchased the book because I was dealing with some items I needed pertinent information on, and thought Dirty Little Secrets would cut to the chase....WRONG. It's happens to be a bunch of common sense information that1who has credit already knows. In addition, its repetitive. |

Summary: No big secrets
Comments: I was disappointed in this book. The "BIG" secret is; pay your bill's on time!! This book actually gives bad advice if you are trying to better your credit score. There are many other books out there with much more and helpful information. do not waste your money. almost all of the book is about common sense or information you can find on the credit bureaus websites. Unless you want to know about how to handle debt collector's this book is useless. Not1dirty secret!!!!!! I even checked the year the book was writen in, I thought maybe is was from a decade ago.... |

Summary: It is what it is
Comments: I think this book accomplishes its narrow purpose - to be an basic overview mini-book for the credit novice. There is no in-depth examination of any topic, the title is definitely misleading (all the while I read I kept waiting in anticipation of the 'dirty little secrets' that were never to materialize) and will not be informative for anyone who has a basic knowledge of managing credit. Even if you are a credit novice, this is not a reference resource that you need to own, save yourself the purchase price and get it from the library instead. |

Summary: No new or "secret" information
Comments: The things that this book told me were things that are common sense & common knowledge about credit scores and credit reports. There was nothing in it that would help me repair my credit besides the traditional step: try to pay off as much as you can, which is a probblem when you do not have the money. It wasnt what I expected. |
