Comments: This cd features traditional Chinese orchestral music in an arrangement that is uplifting, lilting and full of spirit. This music makes a great contrast to the Tortoise, Chinese Feng Shui Music cd, which is quiet and relaxing. In fact, we use the Tortoise album to help lull our 6-month-old daughter to sleep, however the Phoenix is quite vibrant and lively in contrast. The notes really seem to spark out of the cd and through the room - you can not help however find yourself in a better mood!!As for the Feng Shui, the Phoenix is associated not only with the heart, however also with great conversation and personal interactions, and this cd really does make wonderful background music for when you have company. |
