Summary: Total Piece of "Crap".... do not purchase.
Comments: I purchased this product.... and yes it does many of the right things.... however there are many wrong things about this particular item. I have ruined many a dinner.... because the rack inside is not secure and it falls out easily. Thanks a lot you miserable fricking designers for this wonderful feature. Just tonight.... trying my best to get dinner on the table was disappointed by the flaw that sent all of the asparagus to the floor. Lovely... why do not we have the designers of this oven come and mop my floor now. Anyway... whatever....... It's mine now... and it will live it's life out with me gingerly going about making dinner. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!! purchase something else. Displeased beyond belief at this point.... Mis L. |

Summary: Still works after 8 years
Comments: I believe I purchased this oven during the summer of 2000. I have used it 1-3X daily since then. It honestly is a replacement for a full oven -- just use it for smaller-sized baking/broiling/roasting. I plan on replacing it with the exact same model when the time comes. |

Summary: Bakes great, will not toast
Comments: I have had3of this defective product - original and2replacements. Each exhibited the same problem: would toast the top of the bread (or whatever) perfectly, and leave the bottom crisp, however white.
Oven functions well, great size. however if it will not toast, what great is it? Surely not worth the price. The last "customer service" dude at Cuisinart said maybe the manual was wrong and the tray that holds the bread for toasting should be down close to the bottom heating elements. That caused poor toasting on top and burning on the bottom. I am donating this turkey to a local charity and purchaseing something that will toast bread or a sandwich!! $200 down the drain. Thanks, Cuisinart!! |

Summary: Still working great after 3 years
Comments: I have had my Cuisinart Toaster Oven for over 3 years now and use it alalmost all e day. It works as great today as it did the day I got it. As a matter of fact, my regular gas oven has quit working and I have put off purchaseing a new1since I rely on my toaster oven so much. Granted, I can not bake anything in large quantities however it's given me time to shop around to find exactly what I want. I would highly endorse this oven to a single person or small family who doesn't need to bake large amounts. It is1of the best purchases I have made and if it were to quit working I would not hesitate to purchase a new one. It' just a great little oven !! As to comments about having to reset all the settings when the timer goes off and you need a longer cooking time - just push the timer howeverton for however more minutes you need . do not push the stop howeverton. The minutes you enter will blink on the display for a couple seconds however then it will continue your baking for however many more minutes you entered. |

Summary: Great oven
Comments: This oven works great!! Toast is fine. I use it in place of my full size oven all the time now. I have made bread, cookies, biscuits... All cooked perfectly. I love the digital controls.
My only complaint is that the lowest position for the rack does not have a clip to keep the rack from falling out (the top position does). It makes it a bit tricky to check on something since when you pull out the lower rack it droops down a bit and wants to slide/fall out. I purchased a Wilton Cake Lifter to remove whatever I am baking from the oven (it works great for pizza too). |
