Hoover F7425-900 SteamVac Dual V with SpinScrub Hand Tool
Rating: 1 (out of 5)
Summary: Save Your Money!!!!!!
Comments: I purchased this product a little over a year and a half ago. The 1st 2 times I used it it worked well. After owning the cleaner about 13 months, I went to use it a third time and the brushes did not rotate any more. I ALWAYS clean the machine and dry ething before storing, only use Hoover soap, and baby the darn thing. I paid $60 to get it fixed, used it once, cleaned and stored it. I pulled it out to use a couple days ago and the brushes will not spin again. I contacted customer no service when it broke the 1st time and was told "sorry, the warranty expired last month." I contacted customer no service at Hoover again this time, and haven't heard a peep. I will NEVER purchase from this company again. What a $300 rip off.

Summary: Loud and Messy
Comments: I borrowed this from a friend who admitted she did not do her research when she purchased this unit. She had only used it twice before I got it, though. This machine is louder than anything and leaks ALL OVER!! Whether I had it on rinse or wash, the shampoo came pouring out all over the place. Whether I had the trigger pulled or not, it was still pouring out all over my rugs. When I attempted to use the attachments on my stairs, I noted that it really did not clean anything until I looked down at the step the machine was resting and and noticed a HUGE puddle. Even though I had the attachments hooked up, it still poured out from the bottom, flooding through my stairs, through the ceiling below and onto the steps underneath. It did get a lot of dirty water up from my rugs, however all water-based machines will do that.

Summary: Cleans great, hand tool sucks, breaks easily
Comments: The cleaner cleans well on the floor, however the entire internal turbine rusted out in 12 months and had to be replaced, the clear water tank cracked after 2 years, and the hand tool barely worked well to start with. purchase something else.

Summary: Do Not purchase This!!
Comments: I do not write a whole lot of reviews however I feel the need to warn people about a manufacturing defect in this machine. The bottom of the clean water tank is thin plastic and there is a great chance it will crack over time just with regular use. We've had our machine a little over3years and have probably used it twice a year. Yesterday I filled the tank and it started leaking all over. Turns out the plastic around the valves had cracked. Amazon will not allow links in reviews however if you search for replacement clean water tank and this model you will find hundreds of similar complaints. Some people report being on their 3rd tank. They are $50 a pop to replace!! Save yourself the aggrevation and steer clear of Hoover carpet cleaners.

Summary: cheap plastic, leaky
Comments: Hopeless thing. This is my 1st steam vac and worked great intially. however after 4-5 uses, problems started appearing. Water tank is made from cheap and fragile plastic, it broke and had to replace with $50. Detergent keeps leaking all the time, hardly able to use. Brushes also stopped working. do not purchase THIS.
