Product Reviews:
Lenswork
Rating: 5 (out of 5)
Summary: Lenswork for working behind and in front of the Lens
Comments: It is such a beautiful display of fine art photography in the way the images are printed. The articles are fantastic and some are inspiring with information that you may not have known previously. It makes photography personal and also diverse in what you can do with your skills and talent. I highly endorse this magazine to any and all photographers, it's worth the subscription.

Summary: Like Visiting A Gallery On Paper in my Leisure Time!!
Comments: I am not a techy camera person, however I do appreciate quality b&w photography and the creativity of active photographers. Lenswork magazine highlights quality work and supplies interview info on the artists. It's like attending gallery openings!! I enjoy it, and the format lets me experience the photographs myself. It's a well-done, intelligent publication. Worth the price!!

Summary: Compact - A pocket Version?
Comments: The print quality is some of the best I have seen in any magazine. It focuses on the creative aspects of photography and does so well. However - it measures 7 inches by (just under) 8 1/2 inches which is not revealed anywhere on the description and surprisingly not mentioned in other reviews. It's small!! If not for the ridiculous size I would give it 4 stars with out hesitation.

Summary: fantastic
Comments: This is perhaps my favorite Photography magazine. The printing is fantastic as is the subject matter. I really like the fact there are no ads in it at all. many photography mags are just an extended catalog for B&H or Adorama that this is a breath of fresh air.

The photography itself is second to none. Always something interesting and fresh.

Summary: My Favourite Photography Magazine
Comments: there is a lot to like about Lenswork - the selection of images, the quality of the printing, Bill Jay's "End Notes" - however the thing I like the almost all is that there is alalmost all no discussion of equipment. Brooks Jensen (the editor/publisher) doesn't appear to care what camera you used to make a photograph, or how many miles through a raging blizzard you hiked to make it. All that matters is the image. And after you've finished looking at the images, you will find a lot of wisdom and practical information packed into each issue, too.

Highly endorseed!!
