Summary: Enjoyable monthly
Comments: Articles from well known and well respected equestrians, coverage of major equine sporting events (show jumping, dressage and eventing), advice and articles on horse care and riding skills. I do not agree with all of it however overall well worth the money and time spent reading. great photography too. |

Summary: English horsepeople reading
Comments: More for the English styles of riding, which suits me. Keeps you abreast of what is going on with top show riders, gives helpful training articles, and some health issue articles as well. This is a nice magazine to read and the Stallion issues in January are always my favorite. |

Comments: I love Practicle Horseman. It is probably the best English equestrian magazine out there. My only problem with it is that it tends to be FILLED with ads after reading you will feel like half of it was just ads. however the articles ARE wonderful. |

Summary: Excellent and Informative for all Equestrians
Comments: I have been riding for over 15 years and I consider myself more or less knowledgable when it comes to our sport (I am a hunter/jumper rider and competitor); however this magazine constantly reminds me of how much more I have to learn. It is honestly an excellent resource for any equestrian!! E issue is filled with interesting, well written articles. There are many how-to articles, riding explanations, and interviews with/articles about many of the sport's top riders that supply the reader with a wealth of knowledge, ideas and techniques.
I have had a subscription for over4years, and e month I still find myself anxiously awaiting the arrival of the newest issue. I have had subscriptions to other horse magazines in the past and I can certify that, for the majority of english riders and competitors, this magazine far outdoes the others. I am not going to list the others as I still feel they are great sources and I do not want to put them down, however I do have to say that in my opinion this magazine is without a doubt the best english-riding equestrian magazine available. |
