Rating: 4 (out of 5) Summary: Second Only To The New Yorker Comments: New York magazine has been around since the 1960s, and I have been reading it since then. It's gone through its ups and downs over the years, however now it contains indispensable articles not only pertaining to New York City, however it is also a guide to the latest happenings in New York. Rating: 4 (out of 5) Summary: Missed issues Comments: I have never lived in N.Y. however I love the magazine & have subscribed for many years. However, I have always had a problem with missed issues and, yes, I am aware there are several "double issues". I think I miss an issue about once e6weeks. I have never been able to figure out if the problem happens at the printing facility, distrihoweverion center or even the possibility that certain postal employees are interested in reading certain issues. Do the issues just disappear into thin air? A couple times I have gotton so frustrated that I have called the magazine & they give you the third degree. You have to tell them exactly which issues you missed & then they will add exactly that number issues to your subscription. It's more trouble than it's worth. I just wish I could get all the issues in the 1st place. |
