Summary: Different from what I expected
Comments: I have expected a better quality from Calphalon products however this1is really not up to par. The rack and the container just do not seem match1another (size wise). The lifters are ok however you see solder marks and the metal is not well polished. The injector is scary... outside it appears normal however inside of the injector was filled with dark brown/black grease/oil. I tried to clean it however it's alalmost all impossible. I end up throw away the injector and the lifters and only kept the rack and the container. I have seen better quality with cheaper price products. This1just doesn't worth it. |

Summary: lifter broken in shipping
Comments: I have only just unpacked the roaster from its box, and I am sad to report that1of the lifters already lost a tine in shipping. Upon close inspection, the lifters seem pretty fragile, so I can not imagine that1could really do much maneuvering of a turkey with them. It's a nice idea, however I do not think it's useful in practice. I can not say anything about the performance of the pan, as I haven't used it, however it's pretty darn awesome and I look forward to getting it dirty. We have all Calphalon pots and pans in our house, and I have been happy with all of the items' performances. |

Summary: Great turkey and gravy
Comments: I used the pan for Thanksgiving and then again for Christmas. I loved it and it did well for gravy. I was concerned since I had a Calphalon sauté pan that is terrible... however I am happy with this pan for roasts and turkeys. Next I will try lasagna in it. |
