Product Reviews: Vanguard VS41 Flexible MiniTripod |
Rating: 5 (out of 5) Summary: Really Convenient Little Tripod Comments: Really handy small tripod to put in your pocket. Limited flexibility on legs, however great for almost all purposes. |
Rating: 5 (out of 5) Summary: Sturdy little bugger Comments: The tripod is great. I was not sure if it could hold the weight of my Nikon D40 with a 55-200m lens, however for a couple bucks i thought i would try, and it holds the weight just fine.
There is no reason not to purchase1of these. It is small enough to put in any camera bag, and it is great for holding the camera in areas where a regular tripod is too big and bulky. The little rubber feet are grippy too. I suspect this will come in handy. The reason i was looking for1of these is that i was on top of the parking garage at my work and was wanting to grab a couple nightshots of the downtown buildings, however without a tripod with me and the ledges being angled, it was difficult to get the shots, this will greatly help in those instances.
I do not know how often you can use it before it breaks, i imagine ill get plenty of use out of it though |
Rating: 2 (out of 5) Summary: Ok endorse vs55 Comments: I purchased the vs41 and vs55. Vs41 more flexable however vs55 stays firm on any surface. I have Used the Vs41 a few times and it does what its suppose to do however if you use a heavy lense the VS55 will do a job better. |
Rating: 1 (out of 5) Summary: cheap junk Comments: do not waste your time - get1a little less cheap. There is a reason that S&H is more than product price (and way more than is reasonable: 2oz @1st class is $0.79). This is the same exact product as "Sunpak 620-786 Mini-Spider Tripod" They do not support my tiny Lumix FX33 and are more elastic than "poseable". |
Rating: 5 (out of 5) Summary: Using with Canon Powershot SD850 IS Comments: Attached this to a Canon Powershot SD850 IS with no problems however it leans forward a little however can be corrected by placing the back leg lower. The legs are flexible and it's also great for carrying the camera when using the video on the camera. For the price, it's well made, can not complain. Get it; you never know when you might need it and it's small enough to carry around in your pocket or to throw in your glovebox. |
