Please update your store and sale the new v. 2.5 (I am in the process to return this software due to wrong advertisement) I am testing the new 2.5 with quicken 2006 and I love it I do not mind paying the full price for this GREAT!! software... Rating: 5 (out of 5) Summary: Pocket Quicken does what I wanted. Comments: The software was simple to install and works fine. I needed a way to maintain my checking account and Pocket Quicken fills the need. It allows me to keep up with my checking account, and several credit card accounts. At the end of the day, I always know exactly what I have spent without a lot of hassle or fuss. I simply hot sync and then open Quicken. That is all that I wanted and it supplied my need. I have had the program for about3months and have had absolutely no problems. |
Rating: 3 (out of 5) Summary: Great, while it still worked Comments: This product was pretty cool at 1st. Not as great as Quicken on your PC, however it synced up well and was neat to be able to take with you to keep track of purchases. Would have been great for travel and for remember to log purchases. A few weeks after installing the software, I had to wipe my HP iPaq and reinstall it. It reinstalled, however now gives me an error message when I try to open the program. Ething else on the PDA works fine - I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and the same thing happens. I am disappointed that it no longer functions. As long as it is compatible with your PDA and seems to stay functional, it's a neat product. Kind of pricey for what you get, however nice for the frequent traveler/personal finance guru!! |
Rating: 2 (out of 5) Summary: Basic Entry - not feature rich Comments: For the price I thought I'd get more than what amounts to a basic spread-sheet program that sync's with Quicken.
Yes, when I am spending cash, or using a CC at the store, it's great that I can enter it into the PPC and it will import it into my Quicken. however it's not stand-alone. It will not really track your portfolios. And it does not display any charts or graphs.
For $10 it's worth it, for $30 I would have rather saved the money and just entered in my reciepts when I get home.
I would suggest looking at alternatives like MS Money and SPB Finance. |
