Product Reviews: Palm Merriam-Webster?s Collegiate Dictionary and Franklin Thesaurus (P10935U) |
Rating: 4 (out of 5) Summary: Mini dictionary Comments: Its not a bad dictionary, however its only 30.4 mbs and from 2003. It would be the equivalent of a small pocket dictionary, limited collection of words. I would say get it if its under $10, however I would not say it is worth the retail $30 or so. |
Rating: 5 (out of 5) Summary: Perfect PDA tool!! Comments: I love Palm Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary and Franklin Thesaurus; it is the perfect tool to have for tech savey people like myself who do alot of typing, weither it be an email or typing a letter. Is easy to load on to almost all PDA's, easy use, and almost all importantly a big help!! If you have a PDA, and an SD card slot; this is a must have!! |
Rating: 4 (out of 5) Summary: Sweet Action Comments: This thing is great!! It comes in real handy when there is no internet connection. The only bad thing is that I also have the encyclopedia. The format doesn't allow you to copy and paste both books on a separate SD card, so you have to keep them both with you. |
Rating: 3 (out of 5) Summary: My Palm Dictionary do not work well. Comments: Of the Thesauros and Dictionary, the last do not work properly. Some times the software are not loaded and frequently block the entire device. |
Rating: 2 (out of 5) Summary: The unusable dictionary Comments: This would really be a great dictionary if the company allowed it to be installed on one's own SD Card. Instead,1must remove your card and install the1that came with the product each time you want to use the dictionary.
Handmark's Oxford English Dictionary allows you to install without requiring its own dedicated card. However, once you reach high school age, this dictionary is worthless. There are few words more than 2 syllables long in it.
Too bad the much more advanced Merriam Webster Dictionary is so unuseable.
