Comments: Decided to bite the bullet and purchase this canner. I was not disappointed. Super heavy duty should last a lifetime. Already canned 45 + quarts of beef and stock. Super nice being able to do 14 quarts at a time. Would highly endorse!!!! |

Comments: Hands down, the best pressure canner out there. there is no rubber on the seal so it can not wear out. The 30 quart is wonderful because you can do 14 quarts at a time. Love it!! |

This product is well made and works wonderfully for canning meat!! It holds 14 quart jars, so you do not waste excessive energy canning. Not only stove top energy, however physical energy. It cuts down on the amount of time required to stock your winter shelves!! The only drawback that I can find is my stove just had enough energy to make the temperature required for canning meat. Canning meat requires the higher temps for safety, however it got the job done!!1thing I would do differently now, is to use distilled water. Hard water leaves a white residue which is hard to remove from the jars when done. |

Summary: THis is the worst canning product ever!!
Comments: I was so excited to get a canner that can do such huge amounts and to upgrade from my $10 thrift store purchase of a presto canner. I have had nothing however trouble.
The 1st time was actually ok, sadly because that was still within the 30 day return policy. The second time I used it steam was billowing out of the canner. I stopped and fixed that with more petroleum jelly. Apparently has to be applied e time. I recanned the beans the next day and now the lid is stuck on the canner. I was using the handle on top to turn it and it started twisting in my hands and the plastic covering shattered. I am not a strong person, however apparently I was able to bend a metal handle. I have yet to call the company, however the advice I am reading on the internet is to beat it with a mallet. Does not sound gentle to me.
overall I am unhappy with this canner. NExt time I will take my parents advice and go with the1from Lehmans.. more expensive however lasted them for years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
