Summary: Dap Peel n Seal
Comments: This stuff works great. I live in an older home with bad windows and the Seal n Peel closes all those spaces where air can get in to drive my heating costs up. Seal n Peel works great at stopping those air leaks and when Spring comes you just peel it back off. It doesn't hurt the wood so you have nothing to worry about. Thank you Dap for making such a great product. |

Summary: Does what it is suppose to
Comments: As previous reviewers have stated, this stuff smell horrible!! That being said I did not purchase it for its fragrance, I purchased it to seal my windows which it did perfectly. I would suggest sealing you windows then taking your family out of a nice dinner, by the time you get home the smell should have disappeared. I would definitely purchase this product again. |

Summary: Works great, however strong smell when drying
Comments: Bottom line, this product works as advertised. It seals, and comes off without any marring of the window. I have used it on varnished wood sash windows.
One big positive: its thick enough out of the tube to stay in place when sealing the side and tops of window frames. Some similar products I have used before would run a bit before drying and sticking.
One big negative: really strong chemical smell as it dries. I would strongly endorse using it when eone can leave the house for at least a couple hours afterwords. (Once it dries I can not smell anything.)

Summary: Great Seasonal Fix For Drafts
Comments: This is a great product to stop drafts yet it still lets you open your windows when warm weather returns.
My condo faces a lakeshore and whenever the wind would get up over 20 mph, the windows would howl like something from an old horror movie. Our condo complex will be replacing these windows in the next year or2so, until then, this has proven a great way to stop the drafts and noise while still allowing me to easily remove the product in the summer so I can open the windows.
The only downside to Seal 'n Peel is the odor when you 1st apply it. It's much like airplane glue. Apply the product on the outside if you can. If not, do it on a day when you can leave a couple of doors open for almost all of the day.
