Comments: Its a solid product and the only flaw I see is that the wire slicer is not adjustable. So if I want thicker/thinner slices of cheese, I am stuck with just1thickness. It worked great on Velveeta cheese. |

Comments: great with cutting the cheese and that is not saying any thing about stinking up the joint on you. This cheese slicer is a great thing to have and is indeed a must have to keep in your kitchen as a food tool. This cheese slicer is comfortable to grab and hold and is also easy to wash. |

Comments: almost all slicers of this type are the same. This1has a great feel however time will tell if it is any better than the next one. The question is whether the wire will be strong and last a long time or will it break or stretch. It has worked well the few times I have used it and is easy to clean and it appears great. I would endorse it. |

Comments: I am normally a fan of kitchen aid. This slicer has not cut a single peice of cheese since I brought it home. I have tried it on hard cheese, semi hard and soft sheese. It's really just taking up space in my utensils drawer. |

Summary: The Black Knight of Cheese Slicers
Comments: Stands up to hard cheddars, however will not hold its nose at your processed cheese or softer cheeses either (pssst, that means even Velveeta, for all the other single gals out there). The Kitchen Aid name promises it will be around awhile, and the thread is taught and doesn't slip at all. My hero. :-) |
