Summary: an amazing bargain
Comments: This is some of the nicest cookware I have ever used.
The great: Perfect, even heating. You can make even delicate egg-based sauces in this without a double-boiler. Lovely fond too; seared meat releases when it's done and leaves behind exquisite brown bits for deglazing.
The bad: Must be hand-washed; can not go in the dishwasher. Not non-stick; you have to feel the food as you cook it and get it right.
The bottom line: There are2lines of cookware that work this well. Both are beautiful and usable, and it used to be a matter of esthetics to choose between them. Do you want Calphalon black or All-Clad silver? Since the Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized went on sale for 80% off, the choice became easy.

Comments: this is a great set, however you really need to learn to cook on them, at 1st ething stuck!! we were so used to non-stick pans. Now they work great and clean up nicely. |

Comments: I purchased these because I thought it was time I invested in some nice pans. For some reason these pans are the worst things I have ever cooked in. E thing I make sticks to the pans. I can not make eggs without them sticking to the pans. I can not make anything!! |

Summary: do not purchase These Pans!! purchaseer Beware
Comments: I read many of the product reviews and also own other Calphalon pans, these do not measure up and ething, and I mean ething, sticks to these pans.
I have other Calphalon pans, all with smooth handles, these have cast iron handles and are a cheap knock-off of the originals. Save yourself the frustration and do not purchase these pans!!
I purchased them for Christmas and I am calling Amazon tomorrow to return. |
