Summary: Simple fix produces a great picture
Comments: I have a long cable run from the basement to the attic of a 2 story house then the cable splits and runs back down to the 2'nd floor rooms. Before installing the amp, an HD TV which is connected to a digital cable box was unable to show some of the channels and in another room, an analog TV had a snowy pictuure. I installed the amp in the basement ( simple install) on the run leading up to the attic. Now both TV's have GREAT pictures with all channels working.

Summary: Great product for the price
Comments: Basically it works as advertised. Had2splitters and the longest end going to bedroom about 30 feet long. Picture on some channels really weak. And although it is not supposed to help with cable internet, it has boosted my speed test results (tested several times ). My HDTV now picks up channels I did not even know I had.

Summary: Disppointed
Comments: Something must be wrong and i do not know what.The4channel1i purchased works great.I put this signal amp behind1T.V.being it is a single amp. I was worried about overload.Boy did i get a wrong number.It did nothing to improve the signal it made it worse.The signal is coming in from cable to a4way splitter and1of the T.V's is weak in4channels.I figured i hooked it up wrong.No,i had3people look at it.So i figured i had some bad cable,no i used3different 75 ohm pieces and no change.I mean how can i screw up a1output amp,and i am pretty sure its from the same company.I know it is.To make matters worse i purchased2of them.Now i haven't tried the second1yet.Like i say something is wrong.I will call the company on Monday.Stay tuned.One more thing the price difference between this sellers is well, how does1sell it for Thirty5dollars less than the other.Stay tuned i hooked it up wrong.( according to seller)

Summary: Great product
Comments: This worked great for my outdoor antenna. I hooked it up and much to my surprise, the digital signal was strengthened and purchased up a couple more channels. I highly endorse this product. This worked way better than the cheap Phillips amplifier from Walmart that did not work at all. |
