Comments: I purchased this thinking that the quality really couldn't be what was pictured for the price that was advertised (if I remember, I paid like $42.00 for this).
Turns out, it's exactly what the picture appears like. The carrying case is especially rugged. If you purchased all these items separately, I think you'd pay about double. I have seen Leatherman tools that cost as much as this entire kit.
I purchased this for my "You Have 15 Minutes to Flee" emergency preparedness kit. This is the kit I have set aside in my utility closet that I would grab going out the door if something happened, and I had 15 minutes to get out of my house and possibly have to fend for myself.
It's fairly lightweight. Could easily be put into a large backpack.
