Summary: Not Just for Brownies
Comments: I purchased this pan from Amazon in 2007, however it wasn't until last week that I finally opened the package and tried it out. I purchased it for baking cornbread since corner pieces are the favored ones in our family. I have used it twice ... each time using2boxes of Jiffy brand cornbread mix. The 1st time I set the temperature for 400 degrees and the timer for 20 minutes (which is the least amount of time endorseed). I peeked at it a couple of minutes before the timer went off, thank greatness. That batch was well done....not burned, however browner than I prefer. Last night I gave it try number two. I set my temperature for 375 and the timer for 20 minutes. This1turned out perfect. My only regret is that I waited for a whole year before trying this wonderful invention. |

Summary: Worth it - even if you have to wash by hand
Comments: My son saw this pan advertised in an in-flight magazine and mentioned it to the family while home from college. Eone, especially my wife, was excited (I was excited because they were - I prefer the soft center cuts). I searched for it on the internet and, of course, Amazon was selling it for much less. My son purchased it as a Christmas present for his mother. She was delighted and it works as a advertised, producing perfect brownies with edge cuts in e bite. Ebody is happy, however me, as I am just not an edge man. however I am happy because ebody else is and because I am more healthy for eating fewer brownies.1product negative; my wife says it is not dishwasher safe and so I'll be washing it by hand. |
