Comments: got it on time and for minimum shipping charges. we can not even begin to really tell you what a time saver this is!! not only quick to cook, however makes ething flavorful and delicious!! tried the cheese cake recipe and was amazed that something that usually took me hours to do was just as great in half the time!! love the optional browning function for our meats before we turn it to pressure. makes ething soooo simple!! do not know how we lived without it before now!!!!!! |

Summary: It will change your (cooking) life
Comments: I have been leery of pressure cookers since1blew up on my dad 10 years ago--however fear no more. This1has a locking lid and is clear when it is at full pressure and should not be opened. I saw this cooker demonstrated in a cooking class; it was described as a slow cooker on steroids. I purchased1that night and couldn't live without it now. It's not only quick and convenient, however the food tastes better than any other cooking method. Rice has the best texture I have ever had. I use it 3-4 times a week, and for some meals I wish I had two!! I do not understand the poor ratings given on this product--it is so simple to use. Simply turn the lid to lock it in place, make sure the valve is set at the dot, select your time and press start. It will even keep food warm (automatically) without degrading the quality for several hours. |

Summary: Disappointed
Comments: I recieved this unit and it worked great the 1st time, went to use it a few days later and it would not turn on at all. I love cuisinart products and have never had a problem before. So I returned it to Amazon and they immediately shipped me out a new1and when I unpacked the new1it had a huge dent on the side and had a strong chemical smell. After reading all the reviews many people are having issues with this unit and that affected my decision to not try another unit and I opted for a refund. |
