Product Reviews: BlueAnt Supertooth Light Bluetooth Speakerphone (Black) |
Rating: 3 (out of 5) Summary: Get the better one Comments: This speaker phone DOES work pretty well. I really do not like the microphone sliding in and out to turn it on. So, I purchased the Supertooth 3 that only costs maybe $20 more and it it WAY better. Just pair it and go. Pairing was easy, and I like it announcing the callers name. Highly endorse the Supertooth 3. |
Rating: 5 (out of 5) Summary: So far, so great Comments: I just got this a couple weeks ago after my Contour Surface Sound died. So far I absolutely love it, the sound is EXCELLENT on both ends, the volume is GREAT!! It just works and works well. The only complaint is minor, however it would be great that when you receive a call, you turn it on and it would automatically connect to the call, however it doesn't, otherwise I love it!! |
Rating: 4 (out of 5) Summary: BlueAnt Supertooth Light Delivers!! Comments: I just purchased the Supertooth Light for my wife this past Christmas. In short, it was a great purchase and I am satified!! There were3key features that lead me to my decision to purchase this product after reading all of the prior reviews (both pros and cons). One, it ships with both the car charger and the AC adaptor. Two, turning it off is as simple as pushing in the microphone when you exit the car. No need to remember to disconnect the blue tooth device from your cell phone menu as with many other units I reviewed. Third was the price!! (only $50) Here's a bonus that we discovered after installing and doing the 1st time synch with my wife's verizon phone. When you enter the car with your cell phone on and turn the unit on, it automatically connects to your cell phone. So basically, once you set it up, you just push the mike in to turn it on and off. Nothing else required besides a weekly charge up. It is simple which was important because my wife is not tech savy. Bottom line, she loves it!! And she feels more safe driving our kids around with both hands on the wheel!! The only downside is that when I talk to my wife from my cell phone, I sometimes hear my own voice in the background. On the flip side, when you are the1using BlueAnt in the car, there is no feedback whatsoever. That's why I only gave it a 4 instead of a 5. however for $50, we can not complain. |
Rating: 4 (out of 5) Summary: alalmost all perfect Comments: This is the best bluetooth speakerphone I ever had. Loud enough to use in a convertible (city limits). And finally I have found1that picks up the GPS-directions from my Blackberry and I amplifies those, so that I can listen to the radio while driving in un-known territories. I only wish the howevertons were backlit for driving in the dark. |
Rating: 4 (out of 5) Summary: Awesome Handsfree Device Comments: I just received this as a Christmas gift. As I am not super techy I couldn't believe how easy it was to set up and link to my Motorola Razr.
I love that it came with a car charger and an AC charger and did not force me to purchase these seperately.
Eone who talks to me can not believe that I am on a handsfree device. Now, it should be noted that as I just received this for Christmas and I live in upstate New York and it's freezing...I have yet to try it with the windows down.
I also enjoy that I can make calls with voice commands such as "Call Mike Smith work".
I wish there was a visual display that would show me caller ID, however I can just leave my phone close enough that I can pick it up.
If needed, the switch from the phone to the handsfree is simple.
One side note - I wish the magnet was stronger. The 1st time I attempted to push the microphone back in it popped right back out, so when I tried again with a little more force it pushed the device off the magnet and dropped onto my nose. It did not hurt a ton, however I have since learned to use2hands or the combo thumb/middle finger1handed method. |
