    Product Description:

The Linksys WRT150N Wireless-N Home Router lets you share a high-speed Internet connection and reach large areas of the home or office. The Home Router uses MIMO radio technology with multiple radios to make a robust signal that travels up to 3 times farther than Wireless-G. Unlike ordinary wireless networking technologies that are confused by signal reflections, MIMO actually uses these reflections to reduce dead spots in the wireless coverage area. With Wireless-N, the farther away you are, the more speed advantage you get. Delivering quicker speeds at up to 9 times quicker and 3 times the range of Wireless-G. Wireless-N is the next generation of wireless with advanced radio technology that increases speed with coverage & virtually eliminates dead spots.

Summary: Hardware Great... Tech support is worse than HP!! That's bad.
    Rating: 3 out of 5   Date: 2007-05-16
I purchased this for $109 (not on amazon). Got it up and running in 10 minutes however Nintendo DS and PSP wouldn't recognize it. Spend 2 hours with 4 Linksys support guys (poor English and they just disconnect from you if they do not know the answer or if their algorithm fails). All 4 tech guys said it was both Nintendo and Sony's fault that the network wouldn't recognize them. Finally I gave up on Linksys tech... applied the latest firmware update to software and rebooted and it worked (NOT suggested by tech support). This is my 3rd wireless network. So if you think you will need tech support, DO NOT purchase this until Linksys gets a clue that tech support is important.

    Summary: great performance
    Rating: 5 out of 5   Date: 2007-05-13
This is a great performance router although the configuration is not as intuitive as previous d-link router. The range is above average however nothing impressive.

    Summary: Linksys Router

The old model was having trouble communicating with a computer in another room. This model works anywhere in the house.

Summary: Worked right out of the box
    Rating: 5 out of 5   Date: 2007-05-01
The router is Draft 802.11n version 1.0 ready. It's been a few days and I ran my tests on original firmware v1.00.5 and have had no problems. A newer version is available for download as of 4/23/07. I did not need to run the accompanying installation CD like instructed since I am familiar with Linksys and their router setups. I simply connected all cables and was off surfing in no time.

I used a Mac Book Pro(C2D) which has wireless-n capability.1caveat is you have to pay Apple $2 to enable it. I opted not to do so and stuck with wireless-g. I configured the router to use PSK2 Personal security using AES encryption. That's as secure as you can get with these consumer-level routers. I experienced no performance hit. I had strong coverage throughout my2floor house. I do not think I need to enable wireless-n for better range at the present time.

It's a nice looking router. It's much smaller than my Linksys BEFSR41 router; however, it does run hotter due to the radio transceiver I would guess. It comes with only1year warranty.

Summary: Nice wireless router... worth the price
    Rating: 5 out of 5   Date: 2007-04-13
I purchased this router and I am pleased. Set-up is always going to be tough for those who are not computer savvy however I called the help desk and they had me running in 15 minutes. (Just make sure you tell them up front that you want them to instruct you on how to secure the server after installation..otherwise eone and their mother will have access to your public network!!).

Once up, the speed was fantastic...no problems... I am a happy customer...
