Summary: Best phone and clearest phone ever.

After a million phones, I have finally found a descent phone set that works for ething. I can hold conference calls, retrieve the answering machine from any of the phones, transfer between phones, call other phones, change the ringer for each individual phones, and almost all of all hear clearly.

The Panasonic DECT phones are a disaster. Each time the phone rings it kills XBOX 360 Wireless connections and interrupts wired DSL connections even. It causes interruptions with VPN software causing multiple application crashes. In addition after 2 months the speaker phone comes on and can not be turned off. To make it worse it comes thru as a shorted buzzing connection. This is the phone from hell. Panasonic will not respond to my inquiries. 1star is rating it way too high.

Great phone system. I purchased this with the Ooma core system completely eliminating my phone bills, and is far superior to Vonage and more feature rich than my local supplyr. Ooma is awesome!! ooma Core VoIP Phone System with No Monthly Phone Service Bills
This phone has excellent features, and the range is better than the 5.8GHZ system I owned previously, the Panasonic uses 1.9GHZ band and it does NOT interfere with home networks or other wireless devices.

I only rated it 4.5 stars because I would like to mass delete all missed calls with a single keystroke. Otherwise a great phone system.

We have owned several Panasonic phones over the years and we have always been happy with them. When our last phone took an unexpected swim, it was time to replace it. We selected Panasonic based off our past experience with Panasonic.

The phones are great. The batteries last a really long time and they are AAA size so they will be easy to replace down the road.

The phones have great clarity and range and they are not effected by interference like past models (ie: microwave). The answering machine portion works great too.

The only downside is the menus are not as intuitive as past models. It is a minor issue however if the older models had an easy to use interface why would1tamper with it and make it more cumbersome????

It is a super feature to set the satellite phones where they are needed without needing a phone jack.

I went looking for a phone that was comfortable to hold and1that had big enough howevertons to be comfortable for my husband to use. I saw this set at a local store and was happy to find it cheaper on Amazon. The problem is that the sound quality of the phone is lacking. Even being within 15 ft of the base we get significan not static-enough to interfere with a conversation-and even with the volume turned up all of the way they are not always loud enough (and my hearing is fine). I will be looking for a replacement phone system.
