Unlike other ultrasonic humidifiers, the AIROSWISS AOS 7144 uses a high quality titanium transducer surface, which uses adjustable high-frequency vibrations to turn water into a micro-fine mist, which is blown into the room to evaporate. The titanium transducer surface is much stronger than ordinary metals, resists rust, lasts longer and requires less cleaning. Special Health and Hygiene Features: Air-O-Swiss Hydro Stick (included - replace once per year) provides constant freshness in the humidifier. This advanced water maintenance system keeps the humidifier operating at its highest level between recommended cleanings. Good for one year of continuous use, the Hydro Stick is an optional accessory that provides fresh humidifcation performance. Included lifecycle replacement indicator lets you know when to change the Hydro Stick. Powerful and replaceable demineralization cartridge (included - replace every 2-3 months) features Ag+ Ionic Silver Technology and helps reduce or eliminate white dust.
