The HP SureStore DAT40x6 meets the most pressing needs of IT professionals managing medium-sized networks. It considerably reduces the number of administrative tasks, and therefore the risk of error, in the backup process. Where single drives require daily intervention - often at unsociable hours - the six-cartridge HP SureStore DAT40x6 includes TapeWare backup software. This offers five daily backups plus cleaning in a scheduled weekly operation. Backup does not stop if one tape is full and with the ability to store up to 40 GB in less than two hours on each HP DDS-4 cartridge, it can comfortably meet the future needs of organizations, however much their data generation is increasing.
