Don't buy this printer! this is an INK HOG!
by glanglitz, Sep 21, 2006
Pros: None that I can think of
Cons: Ink dries up fast, paper jams, Win XP problems, many print errors
The Bottom Line: I own 2 Epson's now, a color 777i and the Photo 780, and all the above appears to be an Epson downfall.
Review: I have had the Epson Stylus Photo 780 for about 2 years now - new, retail. It worked great the firs ...

Pros: Tech support tried
Cons: Drinks ink, noisy, actually "walks" on the desk from the shaking. Terrible photo printing.
The Bottom Line: Worst printer I ever had. Epson dropped the ball on this one. Avoid this one!

Not worth taking out of the box.
by fivetrick, Feb 16, 2003
Pros: None to speak of.
Cons: Paper jams frequently, drinks ink like water, ink clogs often, print quality only tolerable.
The Bottom Line: Don't waste your time or money; buy something a little more expensive, with a better track record. It's less expensive to buy one good printer than two bad ones!
Review: I've had this printer for almost 6 months; the reason I bought i was because ink for my deskjet w ...

Beautiful prints
by pvreditor, Jul 17, 2002
Pros: Superb photo print quality on Epson's glossy paper; inexpensive
Cons: Jams with specialty paper; uses ink quickly; just average for text
The Bottom Line: Superb photo-quality prints on glossy paper but just average for other applications. High-quality prints are slow and a little expensive but the convenience is worth it.
Review: I'm not going to explain all the details of the Epson Stylus Photo 780 printer, as that has been don ...
