Still one of the best games available
by yuenp, Jun 5, 2003
Pros: Graphics, Control, Storyline, Sound, Gameplay
Cons: Not optimized for Xbox's hardware; Newly added missions are... added on.
The Bottom Line: Metal Gear Solid is a fantastic game with a great storyline. The game itself is more movie than game, but the additional content provides plenty of action.
Review: When I was trying to decide whether I was going to purchase a Playstation 2 or an Xbox, I kept looki ...

Microsoft, meet Solid Snake. Solid Snake, meet Microsoft....
by onetuffcowboy, Mar 26, 2003
Pros: Cleaner graphics, VR missions; MGS2 is still one of the best games out there.
Cons: This game is actually a year and a half old.
The Bottom Line: If you own an Xbox and never played Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Substance is right up your alley. If you have, though, there's nothing to see here.
Review: As I mentioned in my review of the PlayStation2 version of this game, I really didn't see a purpose ...

Substance, and tons of it!
by zooter1940s, Nov 25, 2002
Pros: It's Metal Gear on X-box! Tons of extras, great variety
Cons: The graphics aren't any better, not that great if you already own MGS2
The Bottom Line: It is a must have game if you do not have the original MGS2 on the Playstation 2. Otherwise, don't bother. If you must, rent it for the extras.
Review: Metal Gear Solid 2 was perhaps the best game of the year last year, unfortunately it was only on the ...

by xgollum, Nov 19, 2002
Pros: Good graphics, great engine, huge story
Cons: hard to control, annoying progression, really friggin' hard
The Bottom Line: I said I recommended it cuz most everyone else seems to like it, it was well presented, and may be a great game, I just didn't enjoy it.
Review: I played Metal Gear Solid on the PSX, and I really enjoyed it. The tension of any game is always ra ...
