Pros: Sharp, very sharp ... solid build quality...
Cons: Very slight warm look to the pics. Noisy auto focus. Bad flare.

A very capable and useful lens

Pros: Fast, very sharp (esp at shorter focal lengths), reasonably compact and light.
Cons: Distortion, edges only good, large filters, noisy AF, quite flare-prone. Expensive.
The Bottom Line: Very capable lens if used within it's limitations- sharp, well built and a match for most lenses in this range. Well worth considering.
