Pros: Humidifies and cleans the air well, great 10 year warranty.
Cons: Expensive, not as quiet as advertised, plastic parts break easily, requires Venta Additive.
The Bottom Line: Will humidify and clean air well, 10-year warranty good customer service. Plastic parts may break easily. Somewhat noisy for a bedroom, must use Venta Additive every 10-14 days.

Pros: Effective at removing dust from air. Attractive design. 10 year warranty.
Cons: Expensive to own, and maintain. Not quiet. Water Treatment Additive indications.

Very expensive.

Pros: Very easy to clean, especially the fan. Does what they claim.
Cons: Amazingly expensive. Not useful in the summer.
The Bottom Line: Probably works a tad better than a bucket of water. It does remove some stuff from the air. If $200 is important to you do not buy this.

Works ok but poor construction + expensive

Pros: works well as a humidifier, keeps humidity level constant
Cons: cheap construction, no water level meter
The Bottom Line: Because of the cheap construction, high price and lack of features I can't recommend this. There are probably other cold water humidifiers that are a better deal.

Cons: Somewhat pricey but you are getting two units in one.
