Sony Handycam DCR-HC85 Whats the Real Deal

Pros: Decent Consumer level digital ,color,nightshooting
Cons: Exposure problems,only 10x zoom

Stay away from this camera, it has quality problems.

Pros: The camera does everything great, except download via the firewire and USB ports.
Cons: The download ports break for now reason, and it takes too long to get fixed.

Pros: Ease of use. Picture Quality, photo and video. 3.5" LCD
Cons: Some streaking with very bright pinpoint type lights. Battery life is average.

Good Quality, Easy to Use, Though Not for Budget-Minded (Part 5)

Pros: Easy to use, manual focus ring, large 3.5" LCD screen, high resolution
Cons: Weak on manual controls, expensive, there are alternatives with Canon or Panasonic for less
The Bottom Line: Better resolution than the HC65, but pricey. The cost for the HC85 isn't too bad considering the high video resolution and 2 megapixel stills
