Problems with shutting off too fast
by wsrhodes, Aug 16, 2010
Pros: OK: it irons stuff nicely.
Cons: Auto-shut-off makes it a pain to use.
The Bottom Line: If you only iron once in a while, this iron is ok. But for continuous use, skip it.
Review: The manual says that “When the iron is idle for 10 minutes…..[it] will turn off.” ...

Very nice iron for the price, but keep track of your warrantee jut in case!
by psychotap, Jul 25, 2010
Pros: Heated quickly, good weight, nicely balanced, good display, auto-shutoff, swivel cord, easy to fill
Cons: Short lifespan seems to be a problem.
The Bottom Line: A good iron. At this price, I can afford to replace it. If I can't repair it cheaply and easily, I will probably buy the same model again.
Review: Because I liked the Black & Decker D2030 so well while it worked I would probably recommend it&n ...

If you hate ironing, buy this iron!
by punkinpie811, May 13, 2009
Pros: Steam is great and ironing time is short. Iron glides on fabric.
Cons: Poor location of steam dial. It's easy to lower unintentionally.
The Bottom Line: This iron is relatively inexpensive. It's pricier than some but performs as well as or better than irons costing $100 more. Do you need to spend that on an IRON!?
Review: I have had the pleasure of being the proud owner of the B&D D2030 iron for a few months now and ...

It makes other irons look like they're toys!
by euchreprincess, Apr 20, 2009
Pros: Digital settings, burst steam and burst spray at every temp, fast heatup
Cons: On the heavy side
The Bottom Line: I paid $43.04, but I've seen it on sale for $30 at Amazon. You won't be unhappy if you buy this one at any price.
Review: I can't believe I waited so long to buy a new iron! I was using a wedding present from 37 year ...

by hvarmit, Mar 26, 2009
Pros: mini lcd display, lots of steam, heats up fast
Cons: I don't like the cord, only 1 yr warranty
The Bottom Line: The B&D D2030 Iron heats up fast, produces great steam, and has cut my ironing time in half.

Digital Disaster
by wtreadaway, Dec 6, 2008
Pros: Heats up fast and it's heavy, so you don't have to press so hard.
Cons: Didn't last six months with minimal use and ordinary care.
The Bottom Line: Don't even consider this iron; I'm betting anybody giving it more than 2 stars hasn't had it more than a week!
Review: I'd never had other than a lower-end or base model Proctor Silex or G.E. steam iron--none ...

As Good As It Gets.
by xarchy, Nov 2, 2008
Pros: Heats Fast, slides smoothly, precise temp control, creases with own weight.
Cons: a tad costly, but worth it.
The Bottom Line: It works very, very well. Solid feel, fast heatup, smooth glide, good steam, long cord, auto shutoff, reasonable cost for features.
Review: I had very specific needs when it came time to find an iron to replace the useless lightweight model ...
