Pros: Looked okay

Cons: Doesn't work with a bed where the mattress sits below the bed frame.

Dangerous...

Pros: Easy enough to assemble (a little awkward, but no big deal)

Cons: Seems to be potentially dangerous, but may only be the case with our bed type.

The Bottom Line: I would personally stay away based on my son's scary experience.
