Epson Stylus C88 InkJet Photo Printer-Only marginal
by sweepsailor, Jun 20, 2007
Pros: Very cost effective, good for black and white text (occasionally).
Cons: No consistent, trouble free prints! Requires constant operator maintenance every time it is used!
The Bottom Line: This printer has caused me untold amounts of headaches and stress! The Epson name on products nowadays doesn't guarantee good quality anymore!
Review: I bought this printer ONLY after my very stable and reliable R300 finally gave up the ghost and woul ...

Epson industry standard quality in a table-top personal printer!
by yellowswan, May 12, 2007
Pros: Great printer for short-run photos! Good for standard printing too.
Cons: Requires Epson paper for photo quality. Function buttons quirky, intake paper tray too upright-balky!
The Bottom Line: Good photo printer for low volume photo printing. Great for basic printing needs. Fits neatly in a small area.
Review: This is easy to set up printer with small foot print for cramped quarters. The print quality is exce ...

Pros: Individual ink tanks, long-lasting ultra durabrite inks, easy setup.
Cons: Will leave you wanting more if you're used to "photo" printers.
The Bottom Line: A good deal at $50/less. Reasonable photo prints, disappointing text output. Cheap, fast-drying ink.
Review: The Epson C-88+ Stylus printer is a handsome, if somewhat large, printer, cleverly outfitted with sm ...

C88: Mar '06 - Apr '07; RIP
by namekus, May 2, 2007
Pros: High quality text and photo printing
Cons: printer durability, paper feed alignment, ink cost, ink wastage
The Bottom Line: Look at higher-end Epson printers if you're a fan of DuraBrite inks (as I have been), or other brands if shopping for a printer in the C8X price range.
Review: Received the C88 as a free replacement from Epson for a C82 that failed after 2 years use -- the C82 ...

Epson Stylus C88 plus; good choice for general printing
by friendly_jacek, Dec 22, 2006
Pros: Fast, economy, and decent quality printer for general use; aftermarket ink can be cheap
Cons: OEM ink is expensive; sometimes print is tilted; tears paper if loaded carelessly
The Bottom Line: I recommend this printer and this brand. The quality of this printer made me buy CX3810 for my home office.
Review: I got this Epson Stylus C88 plus (epinions.com doesn't accept the plus sign!) printer at my work off ...
