Best way to file taxes

Pros: Easy to use, thorough interview, convenient electronic filing and direct deposit refunds.

Cons: None.

The Bottom Line: Turbo Tax is an easy-to-use software package. Unless you have a truly complex return, it is an excellent way to file your return.

TurboTax for the Web

Pros: Easy to use, can often do federal filing free (or at a discount).

Cons: State filing is expensive.

The Bottom Line: TurboTax handles most tax hurdles simply, and offers good help for those questions that may not be clear. Federal filing is cheap or free, but state filing is expensive.
