Pros: Prevents heartworm

Cons: High, monopolistic cost

The Bottom Line: If you have a dog 51 to 100lb there is no question you should be using a heartworm treatment. The only trick is getting it for a low cost.

Pros: Easy to give and your pet will think that they are getting a treat.

Cons: This can get very pricey if you have more than one pet.
