Warning: may be addictive

Pros: Works well, removes a lot of undercoat, super easy to clean

Cons: Expensive (but shop on-line), might remove more undercoat than you want, addictive

Pros: Dogs love the attention, actually removes undercoat, seems perfect for our breed

Cons: Could be tough on long-haired or short-haired breeds, doesn't eliminate shedding

The Bottom Line: The Furminator has my Labradors purring and looking handsome/beautiful. While this is perfect for them I’m in no position to recommend this tool for thin-coated or long-haired dogs.

Pros: This tool is very effective at removing all the loose undercoat without damaging the topcoat

Cons: If you're not careful, you can pull your pooch's hair, and the tool is expensive.
