Pros: Night vision setting, 40X zoom, easy to operate, high-quality images easily transferrable to computer
Cons: Would be even better with an extra battery and maybe one mini DV starter tape
The Bottom Line: For those who need a dependable, easy, better-than average minicamcorder that is versatile enough to record in the dark of night, this is it -- at a reasonable price.

Does The Job Efficiently and Nicely

Pros: Low asking price, decent picture quality. Easy to use.
Cons: Feels cheaper next to older Sony models, some basic features missing, No USB connectivity.
The Bottom Line: Cheap and cheerful. Buy it as your last MiniDV camcorder before you upgrade to HDD or Flash memory. Great for beginners.
