Pros: CHEAP and CHEERFUL Heaps of apps available Robust OS
Cons: No expansion Battery changing can be a pain Serial hotsync Basic functions

Better than expected
by nowshining, Sep 17, 2006
Pros: Everything except for one or two or Three.
Cons: No internal SD SLOT and No backup battery, and no AC adapter.
The Bottom Line: I payed 30 bucks for this, however since I received the 3xe and m105 as one great deal on ebay, I would say probably less than 15 bucks for each.
Review: From review comment on DRAM problem: (copied from self)...I didn't want to re-type anything...as it ...

Obselete in 2006? No way!
by radiov8, Mar 20, 2006
Pros: It is what it is- very helpful. Very capable little PDA considering the age.
Cons: Old-ness, AAA batteries, b/w screen
The Bottom Line: If you can find it cheap, go for it. It's extremely helpful. However, you'd probably be able to find a better one for just as cheap. Use your discretion.
Review: I bought this little bugger for 4 dollars at a school junk sale. I must say, it is what it is- there ...

Cheap and slow... But for little doe!
by jayupark, Jan 23, 2003
Pros: Large screen, low price
Cons: Screen is hard to read, slow processor
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend paying over $50 for the Palm IIIxe. It will do what you want it to, but it's bulky and slow.

Not a worthy investment.
by takattacker, Mar 9, 2002
Pros: Small, compact, has many features.
Cons: Black and white screen, not enough memory...just obsolete!
The Bottom Line: Just not worth your money. It's better off simply getting a non-electronic planner...or wait for a Palm that will actually increase your productivity.
Review: The Palm IIIxe isn't a bad handheld, and must have been a good option as a handheld organizer when i ...
