Give the VIIx serious consideration

Pros: Great wireless computer. Very well built.
Cons: Coverage area not universal.
The Bottom Line: This is an excellent choice in a handheld computer, especially at the newly reduced price. The build quality is very good and its wireless access works quite well.

Palm VII - generally good...

Pros: Full Palm functionality + wireless connectivity. Lots of wireless applets.
Cons: Eats batteries quickly; slow transfer speed. Pricey Palm.net access.
The Bottom Line: If you need wireless features, in addition to PDA functions, the Palm VII is a good choice. But it's not without flaws.
