Perhaps there is a reason there is a second one...
by xelathechi, May 24, 2011
Pros: touch-screen, size, sturdy case
Cons: bad battery life, no wi-fi, finicky on the touch screen.
The Bottom Line: I would avoid it honestly. Get the Storm two and you would be much better off.
Review: Lovely phone eh? One would think a touch-screen blackberry would be hands-down smashingly awesome. H ...

Blackberry Storm
by jensenp3, Sep 22, 2010
Pros: Large screen, long battery life, full web use, data manipulation capabilities, e-mail capabilities, strong signal
Cons: Painfully slow operating system, frequent "crashes" necessitating frequent "reboots," touch screen at times is unresponsive
The Bottom Line: If being purchased for professional use it's a sure hit. If being purchased for social or "trendy" purposes, there are much better phones out there.
Review: While the sleek, professional look may entice some (as it did to me), its apparent user friendly "cl ...

Blackberry Storm 9530 for Verizon Wireless
by shooptek, Feb 11, 2010
Pros: Battery life, beautiful screen, great reception, web browsing is nice.
Cons: SurePress is mediocre. Typing is too much work. Weak camera app.
The Bottom Line: It is a BlackBerry, but for people who do a ton of messaging (like myself), a hardware keyboard is a must.

Never buy first generation anything... period!
by vchand, Sep 23, 2009
Pros: First touch screen Blackberry. Faster processing than other Blackberry devices at the time of release.
Cons: Buggy, laggy, slow, rusty, unsuuitable and premature operating system. Not as advertised! No Wi-Fi.
The Bottom Line: If you want a touch screen Blackberry, wait until the Storm II comes out. Never buy 1st generation anything! I learned my lesson the hard way.

Pros: Limited. Looks cool???
Cons: iPhone wanna be but fails miserably. WAY too many quirks for the solid Blackberry name.
The Bottom Line: Don't buy this phone. It is an iPhone wanna be and fails at it. Glitchy, bogs down and a pain in the butt!
