I've seen far worse, but I've seen better too!
by kingtj, Aug 5, 2011
Pros: Good build-quality/construction, duplexer, separate color ink tanks
Cons: Bloated HP software and long setup process
The Bottom Line: Bottom line? If you know what you're getting into, this can be a good printer for the money, but the downsides keep me from giving it more than 3 stars.

Pros: Print speed is fast, good quality output, good connectivity options.
Cons: Large footprint, noisy, slow to startup, replacement of printheads is expensive.

Pros: Economical, inexpensive ink, individual colors, 15,000 page/month duty cycle, networking, web administration, duplexer
Cons: No manual tray. No display. First printer was DOA.
The Bottom Line: This is a longterm economical option for a printer with a higher duty cycle and networking that includes management. This printer is all business and little fuss.
Review: Inkjets scare me. You have the low cost entry point, with hardware that often reflects it, and ...

Pros: Prints fast once initialized
Cons: Very long initialization process Envelope printing inconvenient Separate Print Heads Very noisy Very large
The Bottom Line: I would not reccomend this printer to anyone unless they find this long initialization process acceptable and also understand that the print heads must be replaced eventually.

Best printer I've had yet!
by hermit58, Sep 14, 2009
Pros: Separate inexpensive 940 color cartridges. Fast printing. Great color. Double-sided printing.
Cons: Slow initialization, with scary (but insignificant) blue-only page. Otherwise, a bit large.
Review: I have used dozens of printers, including HP, Canan, Lexmark, Brother, and many more. This printer, ...
