Good, not great, printer for the money
by vitara12, Jan 6, 2010
Pros: Inexpensive, small footprint, easy setup
Cons: Vague instructions for printing on other media besides paper.
The Bottom Line: For basic color printing, this will suffice. If you need more bells and whistles, this is not the best printer due to much manual intervention involved to change the settings.
Review: My 8 year old DeskJet 840 was getting long in tooth and considering the cost of replacement cartridg ...

Samsung CLP-315W Color Laser Wireless Printer
by jsaintsepinion, Dec 14, 2009
Pros: Small footprint Easy USB setup. Wireless range. Paper tray is covered.
Cons: Could use larger paper tray. Wireless setup. Not really a great photo printer.
The Bottom Line: Great price, good output, easy to hide, only one wire visible in wireless mode. Buy this for a home office or 2nd printer family and give the kids the inkjet.

by suemccartin, Jan 15, 2009
Pros: small footprint, color, toner fairly cheap as these go
Cons: One paper tray, manual duplex, no manual feed slot, power switch on back.
The Bottom Line: Great printer for light use, toner fairly cheap, small footprint means can go anyplace cables will reach, handles a good number of paper types. Good rebates at staples right now.

Lousy Printer, Lousy Support
by buttondown, Jan 13, 2009
Pros: - this printer will not even print out a test page. It does not function.
Cons: Online, phone, and email support useless. Printer doesn't work.
The Bottom Line: Do not buy this printer. It does not work, and Samsung has no interest in supporting customers to enable it to work.
Review: After getting this printer home and hooking it up both with USB and then separately with network, I ...
